yeah, i'm looking forward to that too.
i hope they'll bring up some good new ideas though, cause lots of its fascination (at least for me) came with the uniqueness of the gameplay. i also hope it will keep the charm of an "indy game". |
I am almost certain, it will loose a bit. However: I read somewhere that there will be a two player mode. One with the gun for the blue and one for the read portal. That could be fun. I would like to be Redberry, then.
And if GLaDOS is really "Still Alive" and comes up with more smart remarks...
Still have not tried Rudis extra mappacks and stuff. My spare time is running out - I have to do some repairs on the house and lots of Excel work after that.

Very cute game, the sarcasm is imho quite well placed and the funny logics are opening some new perspectives.
It is not blinding with graphics and goes only for gameplay and "story". Completely my point of view. *thumb up*
(But... its was never worth the money. Maybe I hate steam too much, but this game is a "lunch break" game and should always have been 5€ or "HL2 + Deathmatch"+"Portal"-forfree Pack.)
got hungry for a cake I couldnt get ingame though

Well, the game lasts only 2 hours or so.
Overall it is ok.
I remember some terrible texturing and few bugs also.
Of course the engine is crappy.
Even so, it is funny game for the first time, not much replay value 'thou.
Some challenges can be tough, and there isn't any reward.
The Companion Cube part is the best of course.
Me and my Companion Cube had great time, and I did hear it speak.

i'm not watching any videos of it anymore cause i don't wanna spoil the whole story for me. preordered last week, this is gonna be so much fun, esp the coop mod i guess. triff, maybe you wanna get the uk version too, just to make sure coop is compatible? its also cheaper.
man, i just noticed my upcoming gaming schedule is pretty tight...

coop mode is not included in the German version? Being German really starts to suck. Half of youtube is only accessible through the backdoor and now they start to cripple games. Good I did not order yet.
You can watch the Videos with the two robots. They do not give away too much.

nono, i'm sure it's included in both versions, but for some games there are problems with coop mode, when you have copies from different countries. not sure if this is the case here, but if we both got the same, we should be safe...
+ i'm not sure if the german version has the english language included.

Ah, I see. Unfortunately I have no credit card. So I cannot order it from Amazon.co.uk. So I fear, we'll have to find out if it works...
