dont know major ... looked too ... some told from diane+other guy they heard, release is dismissed again ... no message how long ... the 0.49 release download directory is still empty ....
maybe you try our last otc6 release(from today) online ... tce-force.com:27900
server around 20mb downloads for map and grafix ...
first bug ... the mp5k weapon shows the rainbow-triangle when dropped .. and we still use some weapon-models from tce ... directly out of the pak0 ... maybe we will call our verison pak2,3 etc. and suggest people to copy the tce-pak0 into their gaming dir, till we got more weapons ...

all are waiting for the tce(test) release 0.49? All? .. some crazy gamers are not only gaming and waiting like the mouse for the snake ... - our next version is in the pipe and to keep it with coronors screenshoots, here are a few from our engine.
Who knows this map, knows the changes! Put a standard pak0 and john holes marvelous pak5 into one directory and load our engine with its custom z_otc6.pk3. Problems are still a few, like missing textures, some doors are too small --- eeegk, its more the otc6-programmers are too big? But the truth is, tce(test) made the playermodels a bit smaller (why? only to make it more incompatible ... ..) - maybe they noticed the doomed-headshotsettings and thats a try to make it more fair. But like its in the original et-source, is it fair to have shooting-weapons increase their damage by 4x, 5x on a hit in the head-hit-box - a box thats larger than the head-model, because its nearly impossible to track the model-animatione and head-moves. Thats why the box is bigger. Even if tce(test) made the heads a bit smaller, the problem is the same ... and i dont believe they made a real head-movement tracking for real headshots!

@test: great work...
yesterday goose and me connected 2 otc6...we need about 1/2 hour to find each other in every map...but it looks very nice special the sounds (ak) r great work...i never played et before but in futur ill do it with support of ur mod...go on and finish it...

ok .... tell me more - i want some serious comments about the player-movement. I know we have still a lot ot things to change/tweak. What about the player-movement-speeds? We reduced the prone-speed a lot - maybe too much for some. What about the switching aimed/non-aimed mode? At the moment all weapons have the same damage, only the range is different but for smaller maps (like otc-tower) this wont be noticed, except the colt. Did you find the hidden number-switches right of the limbo-player-head with hat? You even can scroll there through all player-animations, not only the few shown like walking. And you can change some skins too.
and lost in big maps? .. sounds some selected again the old-style et-maps, which are a lot bigger ...
