A quick info for my dear fellows in lag+freeze misery.
A few days ago evenbalance stated: "We are aware of the issue and working to resolve it as quickly as possible."

triffid if you use a nvidia card there are 2 settings who might cause that problem:


set them as they are set in the pic and it might solve the problem Exclamation

Thx merlin! But unfortunately I have an ATI-Radeon-Card. Evil or Very Mad
I even tried to update or use alternate drivers for it. Nothing changed. The problem is caused by Punkbuster. Probably some change in PunkbusterB.exe for when punkbuster fails to start that component the game is smooth and free of freezes - until you get kicked... Evil or Very Mad

bloody baastaads... Evil or Very Mad
tried ATI-Ai settings and others? maybe they interfere with Gaybuster?

I have like 10-15 frames per second and sometimes white screen flashing... but sometimes I run full on 200 fps limiter and no stuff at all... everybody is crazy including me

Believe me - I tried everything. Whatever I did, it changed absolutely n o t h i n g . It does not get better or worse. Always the exact same behaviour. Curses.
There is quite a number of people with the same probs. But no solution in the forums either. Evil or Very Mad Mad

That also doesn't even begin to explain how to get that bloody game running under VISTA..at least i can't understand it.
