Doesn't differ much from the KOSS headset.
Don't know the difference between audio quality.
The joints are tougher so I hope this one takes few drops before it breaks.

The padding on the phones is excellent, you can easily watch 2 hours porn straight
without pain in your ears.

Headset itself is quite heavy so the biggest pressure comes to the top of your head,
time will show if this is good thing or not.

+ long cords, no need for extra cables
+ mute button in the remote, I like this one, easy to access one for the mic and one for the phones itself
+ aluminium joints at the thinnest part, should take hit or two without breaking up
+ padding on phone parts, thick leather, feels comfy

- price
- remote buttons have toy-like feel, lets see how long they will work
- heav, might get annoying later on
- useless LED lights everywhere, depends from your taste, but I don't like 'em

Hey! A friend of mine has that headset, too. He said quite the same as you do. I had thought of buying one with 5.1 Sound but since my cheap HS works so nicely, I never found it necessary to get a new one.
The problem my friend had, was that the Volume-Control was somehow strange. He could not find a good setting to use the headset and his normal speakers on the same soundcard. He had to set everything to very low levels for the headset and change a lot of settings to switch back to speakers.
The only way to solve that problem was to get a second soundcard and connect the speakers separately.

How is the sound? Is it any good for watching movies that provide more than moaning and grunting?

my usb headset (speedlink) has that problem with the volume control too. when i connect it, its way too loud and i have to choose the lowest setting to not make my ears bleed. i guess thats nothing product specific but a general driver issue.

Not into Hi-Fi myself, so can't see the difference.
Never cared about the audio (nor video) quality that much.
I hear the C-cassette and CD all the same.
Also Blu-Ray videos look the same than on VHS.

Hahaha - I can understand the rest, but if the above is true you seriously should see a doctor. Shocked Laughing

Well the Blu-Ray is ok I guess, but normal DVD's suck.
I hate the mosaic at least in the old movies ramaked for DVD,
it really sucks. Seen it quite much in newer movies also.
