Any good headsets around?
Mine are broken (yes again).
I had these Koss SB45:s.
I don't want atleast any worse than those, but don't want to pay too much either.
These were good, but they broke very easily, dropped them down from less than one meter (from the top of my comp).
As you can see even from the picture the joints are from very thin plastic (where you can see the cord running inside),
and they we're quite heavy. Maybe something not so heavy?
The microphone was... well, ok. They had won multiple "best buy" things...but,
after using... well I'm not convinced.
60€ back then, now they are much cheaper, maybe some price close to that, dunno.

When I joined TN (back in 1862), I first had a construction of (really really really expensive) headphones and a mic I had placed on the table. That was very annoying, so after two days I went to a shop, grabbed the first headset, that suited my financial capabilities (24,95 € iirc) and went home. I was pretty sure, I had bought outright garbage, but anything would be better than what I had.
But guess what? The device was just perfect! It even had an USB-Connector to power a vibrator... all right, it was only one for the ears to give it more bass-power. It was called Trust HS-3100 and I still use it for everything. My expensive headphones are long gone, but this Trust-thingy is still fine.
I only fear that it is not available any more. But my advice would be to get a cheap one - preferably with this bass vibration feature. The Desert Eagle sounds just awsome with that turned on.
edit: ummm - the "Gembird 5.1 Surround Sound Headset Super-Bass-Vibration" looks suspiciously like mine...

The best headset is to put your dick in your ear and just listen all the cool sounds it makes.

My dick listening days are long gone.
Trust eh? The brand you can trust?
Sounds cool, maybe I'll try to find one of those.
I want headset that is made from titanium,
everything else fails while I'm playing drunk.

Triff is right. I've got a €20 headset that works just fine. If you're going to spend money for better sounds you're better off putting it towards a good sound card rather than some gold plated, ear massaging headphones that come with a radio control and an installation cd.

Well yeah, I don't know anything about these things, but....
Now I have to use the headphones that I got free in Indian "Kingfisher Airlines"-plane,
and listening music is terrible. No bass, no nothing.

don't you remind us at those cold black days in that devilish monarchy...(though I was never part of it...at least not until a project called gone)

Finally bought the headset.
Was quite expensive and I dont have sound card, but
maybe this will increase ratio in TCE...
Bought this Roccat Kave...
Fancy, useless stuff like LED lights.
I don't like those, but otherwise seems to work.
I have to test it someday in TS, maybe the mic is better...
maybe not. We will see.

More here.
I just want to listen porn extra loud, I mean with full bass,
without headphones my neighbours might want to come watch the porn also.
