ok, i tested it yesterday and have to say it's pretty funny. for me, being a noob on xbox or ps soccer games, the mouse and keyboard controls made playing really easy and intuitive. gfx are not as detailed as in pes 2010 or fifa 10 but for a free game the look is not bad at all. so go download it (~ 1 gigabyte) and give it a try 
edit: it's possible to use a gamepad or only the keyboard, too + there is a multiplayer and coop mode.

i'm not sure because i haven't tried yet but i think you can select a player.

I also love my FIFA 10 with my PS3. So why a game which is not better? -.-
But if I can play against a gonzo - when you try, Bluey - then it could be another game I'd of course try

not yet but i just saw there's a text that says "invite your friends to join you" so yes, it should work.

1 vs 1 he means that only 1 player of mine plays against one player of his team.. and we shoot against one goal and one neutral-goalceeper .. XD
but bluey: i saw that we can play in coop against singleplayer-teams... then 11 vs 11...
saw that just 2 seconds after you left  but i think u saw that before
