Cold Knacki |

OK.
Deimos eats these. He says they taste like plastic and that I should try them. He hasn't sold it to me...
Any other of you freaks eat cold Knacki?
Uh?

I do. d3im0s probably means those, sold in glasses.
If you get good, long Knackis from the butcher they are delicious. Hot or cold.

Well, that is more than true. There are probably hundreds of different kinds of Knackwurst: Look here
I thought of this one, when I posted my first reply:
But this probably rather is a "Wiener Würstchen" which can be, as I said, really good hot or cold.

You see?
Germans love to talk about sausages and I remember cool TS conversations where your instructions on how to cook one were very precise. Boil the water, take it off the heat and then gently lower your knackis into their bath. Let them soak to warm up but never, NEVER let them split in the heat. Why? Because then and only then will that explosion of sausage delight reach every part of your mouth when you take that first all important bite.
I like all that jazz so to hear that some of you just pop the jar and neck em cold is a little dissapointing.

It disappoints me that you are disappointed. Where is the fault in this? It is basicly like this: If you decide to have hot sausages, go ahead and cook them. But do it the right way, or you'll spoil them. If you decide to have them cold they will taste differently, but you can enjoy them just the same.
If you want to have them with potato-salad, boil them. If you're in for a quick (or very late or second) supper, spill some mustard on a plate, take some white bread and have your sausage cold. I personally buy one more than my wife tells me and have one on the way back home in the car (cold of course).
And as I indicated: Never get them from a jar!
I'll figure out a way to get some fresh ones to you otherwise it is like teaching colours to a blind man.
Edit: Perfect. That is so gross. Now I'm hungry. I hope you're happy.

Well,
I am English and we all drink powdered tea.
And BBC radio is actually Dutch!
Bam!
Attaway baby.
You should keep stuff like this secret. I don't want a picture of cold sausage eaters. I like the image of master chefs taking the time to prefer for that perfect first bite!

Well then,
I don't want to withhold their delicious appearance from you Spliffy
I'd love to send a sample to your place but I'm afraid they might not arrive as fresh as they
should be in order to reliably convey their genuine plastic flavour to you

Wrong, totally wrong as you can see
