Clan In vielen Spielen werden die Teams auch als "Clans" bezeichnet. Ein Clan besteht ähnlich wie ein Sportverein aus festen Mitgliedern und tritt gegen andere Clans an. Theoretisch kann jeder mit seinen Freunden einen Clan gründen und manche Clans spielen nur zum Spaß, während andere in Online-Ligen gegeneinander antreten und ihre eigenen Server, Websites und sogar Clan-Shirts haben. Besonders talentierte Clans werden von Chipherstellern gesponsert, bekommen ihre Hardware von den Sponsoren gestellt und spielen um hohe Preisgelder und Sachpreise. Die besten Clans erfreuen sich großer Beliebtheit und ihre Spiele werden live im Internet übertragen und sogar kommentiert wie ein Fußballspiel. LOL?!
